Wrapping With a Sponge Cloth or Tea Towel!

The holiday season has officially kicked off (in Canada at least) and we're here to share a few of our favourite gifting go-tos, while keeping safe and distant.

WRAPPING YOUR FAV BOOK

I personally love gifting and receiving books, especially cookbooks. I find it to be such a personal gift + I'm always on the hunt for my next staple dish. One way to really elevate this gift, while reducing waste, is by swapping the gift wrap for a tea towel. Secure the book and the tea towel with a natural fibre ribbon and voila!

PRO TIP: BOOKMARK YOUR FAVORITE RECIPE FOR AN ADDED PERSONAL TOUCH!

WRAPPING YOUR FAV BOTTLE

Admittedly, I would have never though to wrap a bottle of wine or liquor with a sponge cloth, but Christen has opened my eyes to so many gifting possibilities! These just go hand in hand in my opinion. I always make a mess while preparing mixed drinks and keeping a sponge cloth near by has seamlessly incorporated tidying up into my prep process. You can also swap the sponge cloth for a festive tea towel such as Cranberries

ALL ON ITS OWN

Over the last few years I have been trying to incorporate eco-swaps into every gift or stocking. This has helped introduce a few great alternatives to friends and family. Last year, I filled reusable coffee cups with loose leaf tea or coffee. This year, I'll be adding a sponge cloth to every gift!

They are the perfect add-on gift for the beauty lover, the baker/chef, parents and plant lovers alike.

We hope you've enjoyed this weeks post! If you'd like a step-by-step video on how to wrap with a tea towel or gift with a sponge cloth, leave a comment below!
